Photo Friday

It’s been wacky around here for the last few days. Did you hear? Yeah, that’s right we’re going back to the United States for a visit. If you want to hear all about this weird mission life we live send me an email. We are making the schedule right now and you need to get on it.

Now on to the Photo Friday. The tour continues today with stops in technology, common sense (or lack), and cheese. Buckle up and keep your hands and feet inside the tram at all times.

This is cheese. I am not sure what kind of cheese. I'm not sure if it taste good. I can see by the label it is Gluten free and I can tell by the name what will happen if I eat too much of it.

I know in the Northern Hemisphere your dish needs to point toward the Southern sky. Apparently down here it needs to point toward the Southern sky of another planet. It is possible that this is some kind of alien communications unit.

This is an action shot of my daughter participating in a panel discussion on a television show with other teens. It was a very cool opportunity for her. I am proud of her Spanish prowess. She was easily understood by the folks in TVLand or Tierra de Televisor.

Speaking of kids, it must have been "Bring a Kid to Work and Show Him Youtube Videos on Heavy Equipment Day." Ten seconds after this was taken the kid was driving the tractor while the adult continued to surf on his phone pulling junior aside to look at his finds. I'm just glad the guy isn't a surgeon.

Sometimes the best alternative is the least techno. Razor wire is expensive so homeowners down here buy extra concrete and place broken glass bottles on top of their fences as a crime deterrent. The cool thing is if a section chips away it’s easy to replace.
This hot little item is a "funny car" as indicated by the upper right corner. You haven't seen one because it is "completely new to come in to the markot." This is sure to be a hot seller. What kid could resist touching the little red action button and causing it to convulse? Convulsing toys are what all children want.

Have a great weekend. Get out there and take some cellphone pictures. Then go share them on Facebook. Oh, never mind, you already did that. Kidding. I’m just kidding.

Which one is your favorite? Why?
